The Agency HX UMP is a variant of HX UMP used by Agency operatives and a submachine gun which holds 25 rounds in a magazine. It is a part of the Agency Gun Pack DLC available to those who purchased the Professional Edition of the game. The gun has since been made available for purchase separately through Xbox Live Marketplace (80 MSP), PlayStation Store ($0.99), and Steam ($0.99).
Description

Based upon the real-world Heckler & Koch UMP (Universal Machine Pistol) SMG, which was created as the designated successor for the popular MP5 SMG, being chambered for a variety of larger caliber rounds with more stopping power than the standard 9mm hot pistol round fired in other SMG's (including the MP5). Unique to this version, the Agency HX UMP has an ICA mark on the weapon.
Upgrades
The Agency HX UMP is customizable, and can be fitted with any three of the following upgrades simultaneously:
- Silencer - Decreases noise, but also decreases accuracy and the range at which the weapon deals maximum damage. Each upgrade level weakens the accuracy and damage range decreases.
- Extended Clip - Five extra rounds per clip for each upgrade level.
- Extra Clip - One extra clip for each upgrade level.
- Magnum Ammo - Increases base damage and the range at which the weapon deals maximum damage, but decreases accuracy. Each upgrade level strengthens the base damage and damage range increases.
- Speed Chute - Increases reload speed. Each upgrade level strengthens the reload speed increase.
- Red Dot Sight - Increases accuracy. Each upgrade level strengthens the accuracy increase.
- Modified Stock - Increases accuracy. Each upgrade level strengthens the accuracy increase.
- Weighted Barrel - Increases the range at which the weapon deals maximum damage, but decreases accuracy. Each upgrade level strengthens the damage range increase.

Hitman: Absolution
The Agency HX UMP is not found within any of the campaign missions like many of the other Agency signature weapons are. It must be purchased with $1,000,000 from Contracts mode, or through Xbox Live Marketplace (80 MSP), PlayStation Store ($0.99), or Steam ($0.99).
Variants
- HX UMP: The base variant. Not customizable, and cannot be used in Contracts mode.
