The Bjarkhov Bomb is the third mission in Hitman: Contracts. Agent 47 must assassinate Austrian terrorist Fabian Fuchs and renegade Russian Navy commander Sergei Bjarkhov and destroy a dirty bomb production facility.

There is an extraordinary coincidence taking place in Siberia. Two high-profile targets will be meeting each other for the first time. Our client wants you on the job. It is a golden opportunity to get to both men, making it a high-risk, high-reward operation. There is no margin of error on this one, and our client is not accustomed to disappointment. Your codename on this operation is "Mr Byrd"; our man on the base will answer to the codename "Yurishka". This might look like a straightforward mission, but be careful 47; you do not want any extra trouble in that environment.

Description

Sitting on the floor of the Paris hotel room with a gun, delirious from the wound, Agent 47 remembers the Fuchs-Bjarkov contract.

Hiding in the cargo compartment of the An-124 Ruslan, with the plane landing, 47 found himself in a Russian Navy submarine supply depot on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

Agent 47 had to assassinate Fabian Fuchs and Sergei Bjarkov, as well as as destroy the dirty bomb production base – a Russian nuclear submarine.

Fabian Fuchs of the international terrorist family has been sent by his brothers to purchase a dirty bomb from weapon dealer commander Sergei Bjarkhov. Assassinate both men and destroy their bomb production capabilities. The deal is going down at a reconditioned submarine supply depot on the Kamchatka Peninsula. We can smuggle you in on the same cargo plane that's bringing Fuchs and his men to make the buy. You will have to get out of there the same way. We have got a mole on the base, an ex-KGB operative working as a chef, codename "Yurishka"; he can fill you in on some of the particulars. We do not know what the Fuchs Brothers want with a dirty bomb - just make sure they do not get it.

• Sedating Fabian Fuchs, instead of killing, makes him later wake up and run to Sergei Bjarkov naked.
• Bringing a grocery crate to Bjarkov's ship will automatically make Agent 47 put it down, unable to pick it back up again.

• Flags of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria are on the airfield.
• The shoulder patches on the Russian military uniforms belong to the Russian Navy Northern Fleet submarine unit B-448 «Tambov», a Project 671RTMK Shchuka nuclear submarine. The cap insignia on the ushankas and berets – the AS-33, a Project 1910 (UNIFORM-class) research nuclear deep-water submarine.
• The mission was originally titled "Snow Job in Siberia."
• One of the few missions with environmental damage, in this case, radiation.
• The airstrip is too small for such a big cargo airplane as An-124 Ruslan. Also, its "RA-15643" ICAO code is registered to a Russian Mil Mi-2 helicopter.
• Russian servicemen are armed with the Czech-made handgun CZ2000.
• Military SUVs in the dock, which are supposed to be the Soviet-made UAZ-469, look more like the American Jeep Wrangler.
• The mission's date is unknown, but the circumstances suggest the mission takes place during the events of Codename 47: after Say Hello to My Little Friend and before Traditions of the Trade.
