LaSandra Belle Dixon (also known as 1424 XO Dixon) is the captain of an elite group of killers, code-named The Saints, who works with the ICA, and initiated by Benjamin Travis as one of his projects.^[1]

History[]

Dixon was once an officer of the Oakland Police Department strongly considered for a position in the FBI. She was later recruited to be a member of the elite ICA team, code-named "The Saints", and became a star and potential senior manager within the organization. She is searching for and training potential new members for this group under the specific orders of Benjamin Travis.

The Saints attempt to kill Agent 47 at a motel, but she and her team suffer heavy losses as a result, all of her colleagues were killed by the hitman.^[2]

Originally the team wanted to create an animation for LaSandra Dixon. They managed to create an animatic but it never made it further than that.^[3] The animatic, voiced by Vivica A. Fox, gives a little more backstory on Dixon. It shows us how 47 used to be her idol and her inner conflict about having to kill him. The setting and location was the Waikiki Inn with the other Saints in the background. It seems Dixon was originally going to use a weapon similar to the StG 58 as well.

Demo Reel[]

On December 1, 2012 Grading/Lighting artist Adrian Lazar posted a demo reel on Vimeo.^[4] The video showcased the cinematic cutscenes from the game without the blurred lighting. However in it was a beta/unreleased version of the Travis and Dixon phone call. Dixon was more light skinned and her mini-dress remained. This indicated the mini-dress was reworked a few or couple months before release. The dress was complete as well with a belt covering her waist and a knife pouch on her thigh.

Trivia[]

Dixon is voiced by Vivica A. Fox, the actress who played the former assassin Vernita Green in Kill Bill. Her role as LaSandra Dixon may pay homage to her previous role.
She is the only Saint who does not use an Agency Dynamics CPW, using The Absolver instead.
She admires Agent 47 and feels conflicted about her mission.
In promotional material, she didn't try to attack Agent 47 in melee and made three attempts to shoot him - being led to kill her own subordinate Jennifer Anne Paxton, who was used by 47 as a human shield. Though Jennifer would die anyway, because Agent 47 slit her carotid artery with her own knife a little earlier.
Her role in the game appears to have been trimmed down considerably during production. Promotional video footage from the documentary "Burning Hope" shows the filming of an omitted scene between her and 47, in which he is holding her by the throat as she begs for mercy. This was removed for unknown reasons, and Dixon became an in-game target instead. In the documentary, there was also footage of Fox saying a prayer during shooting, though no such scene appears in the game.
In the trailer Attack of the Saints and in the game, LaSandra Dixon undoubtedly dies by 47 hands. However, in the Hitman Absolution - Saints ICA File trailer she's shown badly wounded in hospital.
In promotional material such as the Attack of the Saints trailer, Dixon's tear tattoo is on her left cheek while In the game, it's on her right cheek.
In the second cutscene with the Saints in Hitman: Absolution and in the game, Dixon has a tattoo of the ICA logo on her left shoulder, which is absent in the Attack of the Saints trailer.
In the game, she wears a bit more modest outfit than in promotional materials. Ditching the mini-dress, she is sported with her pantyhose and shorts; which are decorated with patterns as well.
