M4

From Hitman Wiki

The M4 from Hitman: Blood Money with no upgrades.

The M4 is an automatic assault rifle. It is arguably the most powerful weapon in Blood Money, boasting a 30-round magazine, high stopping power and great accuracy. The weapon is well-suited for mass killings, especially when fitted with the drum magazine upgrade. The M4 is not recommended for stealthy play styles as it is not concealable. Also, unlike certain rifles, the M4 cannot be placed into a rifle case.

The M4 has the highest rate of fire in this game. It can be obtained by killing a UN soldier only with fiber wire, but finishing the level with it causes the game to freeze. Another way to keep it is to finish St. Petersburg Stakeout, Kirov Park Meeting, Tubeway Torpedo and Invitation to a Party all on Silent Assassin in a row.

This weapon is one of the five customizable weapons in the game. The 'M4' starts as an M16A3, as seen by the non-telescoping sight, long barrel, and fully automatic fire. The player can essentially upgrade it to an M4A1, by buying a telescoping sight and RIS system. For a list of customizable upgrades, see M4 upgrades.
