Plutonium Runs Loose is the 11th level in Hitman: Codename 47. It is the second and final mission of the hit on Arkadij Jegorov.

In Hitman: Contracts this level was remade as Deadly Cargo.

Description[]

After Agent 47's meddling with Ivan Zilvanovitch's trade-off, Agent 47 had achieved getting a tracking beacon and found his way to Arkadij Jegorov.

Agent 47 must squeeze his way through the harbor of Rotterdam, and kill Jegorov stopping his trade of weapons.

Mission Briefing[]

Well done. The GPS you "sold" to Ivan led us to Boris.

We have to move fast. Boris is getting ready to leave Rotterdam! You will be inserted next to the quay where Boris's ship is located. The area is locked off and the gates are guarded.

Note: we have last minute information that there might be a nuke on-board the ship! The model is old so you should be able to disarm it if necessary.

Diana Burnwood, Controller, The Agency

Objectives[]

  • Eliminate Boris
  • Nuke must be disarmed
  • Take ship on international waters

Reward: $75,000

Intelligence[]

The Agency has tracked down Boris' ship to dock 45 and we know that he is on board. You must board the ship and eliminate Boris.

Boris is carrying a nuke on-board the ship. It is most likely well hidden and Boris might even arm it if he feels threatened. Take control of the ship, and start the engines from the bridge. Then steer the boat to a designated meeting point in international waters. We have information about a small arms depot in the harbor. Locate it and see if you can use any of it.

Disguises[]

Your default suit is useless, every npc will fire on sight.

  • Mercenary - Useful for getting to the ship, but useless on the ship.
  • Sailor - Cannot visibly hold weapons but is the only one allowed on the ship.

Allies[]

None

Neutral[]

None

Enemies[]

  • Harbor Guards
  • Arkadij Jegorov's Crew
  • Dobermans
  • Ivan Zilvanovitch
  • Arkadij Jegorov
  • Captain

Notes[]

  • Boris will arm the nuke regardless of any alarms having gone of and him being informed of your or at least someone's presence, making for a somewhat sloppy outcome regardless of your approach to the ship as you still need to make a hasty execution or ambush Boris at some point before he escapes.
  • Picking up the car bomb (or going to the car bomb's general area) seems to trigger various guards to de-spawn from the level, no guards will be found patrolling between the closed gates where they tell others a password. This results in the player being forced to assume a run and gun approach to get through undetected, either with silenced weapons, or with a sniper rifle and enough distance and precision to take out targets without anyone raising the alarm. The bomb itself has one intrestring property, it blows up when the engine is started even though no mention of this is given to the player.
  • The gates' properties are bugged, firing through them causes your shots to sway off target, missing completely. It is advised to avoid this at all cost.
