Richard Philip Strong was the CEO of arms manufacturing company Stallion Armaments and the main target in the Hitman: Sniper Challenge.

Character Information

Richard Philip Strong was born on April 7, 1954. His father was an English ambassador, George Edward Strong, who died in 1999, and his mother was Augusta Strong, who died in 1977. He had a brother, Conrad Strong, who was born three years after him and who in adulthood became a paranoid schizophrenic and was confined to a mental institution in rural Switzerland. For some time, Strong worked for Blake Dexter, CEO of Dexter Industries, but quit working for him in 1982 to form his own company, Strong Arms. Their rivalry lasted for years and made several headlines.[1]

Stallion Armaments

Strong then became the CEO of weapons manufacturing company Stallion Armaments, which was formed around the time of the first Gulf War and may have been based on Strong Arms. Strong sold western-made weapons to governments and insurgents in third-world countries. Over time, Strong became increasingly paranoid as a result of threats he received and eventually became an almost complete recluse, only stepping into the public eye on a few rare occasions, always travelling by helicopter and always having a group of highly trained bodyguards around him.

Hitman: Sniper Challenge

In Hitman: Sniper Challenge, a standalone game set some time before the events of Hitman: Absolution, 47 is tasked with assassinating Strong as well as his 14 WolfGuard bodyguards during a brief window of opportunity when he visits a party on the top of a hotel in Chicago. Because Blake Dexter's company, Dexter Industries, purchased 34% of Stallion Armaments after the death of its CEO, it was implied that Dexter himself was the one who hired the ICA to kill Strong.[2] This is confirmed in the Blake Dexter ICA File trailer.[3]

Strong is a 58 year old male standing approximately 6 ft 2 inches. He has brownish-grey hair that is combed back and he wears a brown suit.

  • Though Strong's name ends with "Jr." in promotional material and in the briefing, which would imply that his father was also named Richard Strong, his file seen in the intro of the Sniper Challenge names him as simply Richard Philip Strong and his father as "George Edward Strong".
  • His file in the intro to the Sniper Challenge mentions that Strong was apparently born without a sense of smell.
