I solely manage, admin, moderate and contribute to the NieR: WIkia and some other great games and after playing HITMAN™ and searching for things on the wikia i'd like to start reorganizing / redesigning some of the pages. Just through looking at some pages a lot of weapons have different data boxes which makes no sense and the layout of each is different and not organised. I will keep a set standard and layout with the new weapons (starting with those that haven't been added yet) keeping with the design and theme of the wikia obviously. If a mod doesn't like the pages i've created feel free to contact me here on my talk.

That should be what the Hitman Wiki:Style_Guide/Weapon page is for. I'm not against this new infobox, though. It looks very nice and could apply to all the weapon's infoboxes (as we apply all weapon infoboxes in one). We might need to do seperate/similar infoboxes for the other games, then.
Since it seems that HITMAN™ Weapon Infobox is outdated in this scenario, I've deleted it.
Yeah i have read it, i just feel like quite a few things are...out of place. Another thing i noticed is a ton of redirects e.g. Sieger 300 ghost redirects to a redirect page for Sieger 300 which redirects to the WA2000 sniper. While i understand that it is true that they are based on the same weapon, the wikia in my opinion should be straight forward, everything should have their own page, even if information overlaps and nothing should be over 1 click away. If i want information about the Sieger 300 Ghost which i saw in a YouTube video, i should be able to type it in in the search bar and have a result, which is not currently the case. If i wanted to see information about it go through 2 redirects and have to go the bottom of the page with a small bit of information about it. Personally i think this is the opposite of what should be the case.
Not saying my format should be adopted as gods speech but i'd like to work with you (i saw your edits to one of my pages) and if we can come up with a style i can add them to every weapon in the game and then move on to missions, challenges etc. Thanks for the reply : )
Edit: I'm not that good with CSS or source so i'm not sure how to change infoboxes to much extent, either way i noticed one error here. Aside from this i can agree with the changes and i was wondering if introducing icons or thumbnail images for the perks would be helpful (it certainly looks nice) as you could see at a glance which perks the weapon has. E.g: [Subsonic Icon] Subsonic - Very quiet, reduced damage. Again, i'm not sure how to add this via CSS so it could be implemented into text but yeah do get back to me (also the icon was just a copy+paste, i could make a more refined one keeping with the style)
Oh, that period on "Class.:" isn't a mistake. I know it kinda looks odd, but if I recall that's how you'd abbreviate and still list a form after it. So it's abbreviated as "Class" for "Classification," but still should have the . and :. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
Also, I have no idea myself how to Add those little icons to the box. I'm not too splended at CSS myself nor JS. To do so, the infobox would probably have to be totally re-written, as Wikia's infobox editor doesn't like too many custom variables (I even had to list the template as a Quote template to even get to the box's source).
Ah okay, i'll look into the icons, thank you for the consistency edits! Ah, no worries wasn't sure if that was a mistake or not, if it was intended sure no worries. I just created the 3 Sieger variants of weapons as it was really bugging with all the redirect links (there is still the redirect on the page to the original Walther 2000 page so if people are looking for it its there) let me know what you think.
This will create a small icon wherever you want which links to an article, it can be used for anything you just need to update the data module here: http://hitman.wikia.com/wiki/Module:Icon/data using this format, now comes the part of making the items look smooth and readable as i'm not quite sure the one in use in my example is all that great. Might try grabbing the image in 4K max settings to see if it makes a difference. Thoughts?
Edit: they now also link to an article when clicked, atm it is a list of perks (which i think makes sense) http://hitman.wikia.com/wiki/Weapon_Perks which i just made.
Edit 2: Made them look at bit nicer, not sure if there is much more i can do to them since im using a 1080 screen so the actual resolution won't change :x
