U.S. Marines are part of the United States Military. They are deployed all around the world. In the Hitman series, they are featured prominently in Hitman: Blood Money, where they can be seen guarding the White House.
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is a branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for providing power projection from the sea, using the mobility of the United States Navy to deliver combined-arms task forces rapidly.
It is one of seven uniformed services of the United States. In the civilian leadership structure of the United States military, the Marine Corps is a component of the United States Department of the Navy, often working closely with U.S. naval forces for training, transportation, and logistic purposes; however, in the military leadership structure the Marine Corps is a separate branch.
Hitman: Blood Money
They appear wearing their formal dress blues in the mission Amendment XXV in Hitman: Blood Money. They are protecting Tom Stewart alongside the Secret Service. They are only seen in the East Wing supervising a tour group and the main building of the White House patrolling. Entering the West Wing while disguised as one will result in the player being confronted by Secret Service.
- In Hitman: Blood Money, the Marines' weapon of choice is the M14.
- If Agent 47 places a gun in a tourists briefcase, when she is frisked, she will be brought in for questioning. However, 47 will be shot on sight if he is caught carrying a gun through the metal detector.
