The Jacuzzi Job is the 13th mission in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, set in the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the 3rd and final part of the hit on Charlie Sidjan. It takes place in a penthouse with the target, Charlie Sidjan, being guarded by uniformed security guards wearing berets and by his own personal guard composed of females. One is playing a piano in the main room and the other three are guarding Charlie in the jacuzzi.

The Agency's plan is for the hit to be perceived as a "robbery gone wrong", so Agent 47 is ordered to steal money from Charlie's safe and to take his statue (the Jade Figurine). There is no briefing, with only the intro cutscene having Diana explain the plan to 47.

Trivia[]

  • The music played by the pianist is the Allegretto from Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca.
  • It is the second mission to not feature any kind of briefing before starting the mission, aside from the first and last mission of every game in the series. The first one is The Graveyard Shift.
  • This is one of the only three missions pre- Absolution to feature female guards. The others are The Lee Hong Assassination in Hitman: Codename 47 (not in the remake in contracts, however)
  • This is the second mission in the series that has nudity, Charlie Sidjan can be seen naked in his hot tub. (which is the first?)
  • Charlie Sidjan's bodyguards will not attack you if you are behind the glass in the bathroom when they enter the bathroom. This is a good chance to pacify them before attempt to kill Charlie Sidjan (if they stand near the glass).
  • Charlie Sidjan's bodyguards are all women. This is a clear reference to Charlie's Angels.
  • There is an Easter egg consisting of two Jaguar Hunting trophies and a Jaguar skin hung over the walls of the main hall. The jaguar on the left is Tezcatlipoca, "The Jungle God", from Hitman: Codename 47. According to the plaque, he was killed by a hunter by the name of Stephen Von Gambt.
  • Another Easter egg is the statue to be robbed, the same Jade figurine 47 took from Lee Hong in Codename 47 (and remembered in Contracts).
  • It is the very first mission in the series to feature reinforcements, with additional soldiers arriving with the elevator if alerted to 47's presence. This feature will only reappear in A New Life.
  • At the top of the table in Charlie's room is a Dopefish, a reference to the Commander Keen video game series developed by id Software in the early 1990s. This easter egg has been found in various tens of games over the years
  • Reinforcements will be called if 47 steals the statue or opens the safe when the electricity is not turned off. The reinforcements will also be called if the technician alerts security guards after seeing 47 in the dark, finding dead or unconscious bodies or hearing gunshots. It should be noted that knocking the technician out or killing him will also cause the reinforcements to arrive, even if no one is alerted.
  • There is a very rare glitch when one of Charlie Sidjan's bodyguards fires continuously for too long, a female guard that wears a pink bikini somehow will commit suicide by the explosion from Snub Nosed Revolver.
  • This is the fifth mission that the night vision will appear. (which are the other four?)
  • If Charlie is knocked out or sedated and dragged out of the tub, when he wakes up his animation doesn't change at all, probably because the developers never considered that players would be doing all this.
  • Charlie never shows any reaction to 47's presence.
  • If he's thrown off the building while he's alive and unconscious (it can be done while he's conscious too but that's a little tricky), he doesn't die, even if 47 dies if he falls.
  • There is a bug that holding Ballers to hold the statue again will not trigger the alarm.
